Welcome to the 4 for Lunch: A Healthy Lunch Challenge. This is a curriculum-matched program to support grade 2 teachers with teaching nutrition in the classroom. As part of this program, every year, York Region Community and Health Services, Nutrition Services run a week long lunch challenge. This is a challenge to students and their parents to plan and make healthy lunches for one week. We have had many winning classes over the years.

The curriculum-matched activities that are included with this program will help to prepare your students for the challenge.  The overall goal of this promotion is to encourage families to pack nutritious lunches.
