2011 Price of Nutritious Food Basket in York Region: The Nutritious Food Basket Survey is conducted annually by Nutrition Services to help determine the basic cost of healthy eating in York Region 

 

Gleaning Program Brochure: Fresh Food Partners Task Group organizes the Gleaning Program which links local farmers with community members on a limited income.  At the end of the each harvest season participants glean (pick) produce from local farmers' fields for themselves and their families at no cost 

 

The 2010 Report on Hunger: The York Region Food Network collects statistical information from York Region food banks and developed this report for educational and advocacy purposes

Eat Smart Cafeteria Program: EatSmart! is an award program recognizing top cafeterias that meet exceptional standards in nutrition, food safety and smoke-free dining.  Workplaces with cafeterias can learn more about the Eat Smart! cafeteria program and apply for the award
