Feeding You and Your Family - Adult

Eating on the Run

Whether you are dining out, preparing quick meals at home, or need a snack during your busy work day, you can still keep healthy eating in mind! For example, when dining out, choose a food establishment with a variety of healthy menu options; consider how foods are prepared and keep portion size in mind. You can also make special requests, such as salad dressing on the side, smaller meal portions or ask to you have your meal prepared in a healthy way. At work or in the car, keep a healthy stash of snacks on hand to help with your mid-day cravings.  It is important to keep your body energized throughout the day!
