Nutrition Works Nutrition Works is a free healthy eating program available to workplaces in York Region. The program aims to promote the nutritional health of employees and to contribute to the reduction of nutrition-related chronic diseases and conditions such as cancer, heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Building a Successful Comprehensive Nutrition Program in Your Workplace Nutrition Works is a comprehensive healthy eating program that focuses on a variety of health promotion strategies and provides a number of activities to promote nutrition to employees and in the organization. The primary focus of the Nutrition Works program is to create a supportive healthy workplace. We provide consultation and customized plans to assist employers in promoting a healthy nutrition environment, such as offering healthier food and beverage choices in the cafeteria, vending machines and at business meetings and functions. The Nutrition Works Program Menu outlines the many activities available to the workplace.
