- World Health Organization provides information on ultraviolet radiation and sun protection.
- Environment Canada - Ultraviolet Rays provides information on UV Index and sun protection.
- Health Canada - Ultraviolet Radiation provides information on ultraviolet radiation from the sun and artificial sources such as tanning beds and lamps, and safety practices for skin cancer prevention.
- Health Canada Sun Awareness Program explains to children what UV radiation is, how it can affect their health and how to protect themselves.
