| The elementary school parent newsletter inserts provide parents with up-to-date information on health-related topics. Parents and others in the community have an important role to play in influencing and reinforcing the health of students. Providing parents with health information helps build the foundation of a supportive social environment. |
| Each month, schools have the option to choose one or more inserts to place in their school newsletter. Newsletter inserts are listed by recommended month and by topic. For example, a school can choose an insert by the topic that matches their identified priority health issue or they can choose an insert by the event related month. |
