Prevention of Tobacco Use

The Smoke-Free Ontario and Tobacco Education and Control Teams are available to workplaces for the support, consultation and education of employers and employees in tobacco-related initiatives. 

 

There are a number of reasons for employers to incorporate smoke-free policy, tobacco education and quit smoking supports in the workplace. They include:

  • Reduced costs
  • Enhanced job satisfaction
  • Stronger corporate image
