The Law
The Tobacco Education and Control Team is committed to promoting smoke-free communities by reducing the number of residents who use tobacco products and decreasing the number of those who are exposed to second-hand smoke.
Tobacco Enforcement Officers enforce the Smoke-Free Ontario Act and partner with schools, workplaces and community organizations to educate about the Smoke-Free Ontario Act and smoke-free policy.
