Required or Recommended Immunizations

Many diseases can be prevented by vaccines.  Below you will find information on routine immunizations we all need to keep healthy and immunizations that may be required or recommended for your destination.  Please note that some vaccines must be given between two and six weeks before your travel date, so should be considered well ahead of time.

 

Routine Immunizations:  These are routine immunizations that children and adults need to stay healthy. 

 

Recommended Immunizations:  These are immunizations that may be recommended depending on your risk factors.

 

Required Immunizations:   Some countries have require travellers to be immunized against diseases such as yellow fever or meningococcal disease in order to enter the country.  Check if this is a requirement for your destination.
