There are many programs and resources that are available to incorporate into your Workplace Wellness Program. Click on one of the topics below to find specific information.

Early Detection of Cancer – Offers education related to cancer screening guidelines and promotes participation in cancer screening programs for breast, cervical and colorectal cancers.

Physical Activity – Provides education and interactive skill-building opportunities to promote physical activity for the prevention of chronic diseases such as: heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis and some cancers. The program also provides consultation for the development of workplace walking programs, physical activity challenges and stretch breaks through the use of the Energize Your Workplace Toolkit.

Nutrition: Healthy Measures Program – A unique nutrition program that promotes eating well, being active and building a healthier self-esteem. Educates and helps employees build skills around healthy eating an provides customized strategies to assist employers in promoting a healthy nutrient environment, such as offering healthier food choices in the cafeteria, vending machines, and at business functions.

Sun Safety – Provides education on skin cancer prevention and recommended sun protection measures for adults, children, outdoor workers and outdoor areas.

Tobacco-Free Living – Offers supports, resources and consultation that focus on: tobacco-use prevention, quit smoking, Smoke-Free Ontario law and workplace policy development.
