A Comprehensive Workplace Wellness Program focuses on meeting the needs of your employees through a variety of activities. York Region Community and Health Services offer consultation and many resources to help you put together a personalized comprehensive program for your company. We provide consultative and support services on starting, implementing and sustaining a comprehensive workplace wellness program. The York Region Active Healthy Communities is funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Regional Municipality of York. Workplace Wellness is a focus area within Active Healthy Communities. Our team consists of public health nurses, nutritionists, inspectors, health educators, and dental professionals who provide a variety of comprehensive health programs at NO cost to York Region workplaces.
