Groundwater Related ProjectsGroundwater exploration can be part of an Environmental Assessment (EA) process and typically involves the investigation of groundwater sources through the drilling of pilot wells. Testing of these pilot wells will determine the aquifer characteristics, groundwater quality and groundwater quantity. The following table lists contact information and communities in York Region where Class Environmental Assessments regarding groundwater are currently underway.
