Section 11 of Ontario Drinking Water Systems Regulation 170/03 (O.Reg.170/03) requires that an Annual Report be prepared for water supply systems by February 28 of each year. The Annual Reports cover the period January 1 to December 31. The reports describe the operation of water supply systems owned and operated by York Region, as well as the quality of drinking water. The Annual Reports replace the Quarterly Water Quality Reports that were required under the previous regulation O.Reg.459/00. The Annual Reports to address the quality of water delivered to Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan (excluding Kleinburg) are also prepared by the City of Toronto and Peel Region.
