York Region staff are committed to providing cost effective, quality services that respond to the needs of our rapidly growing  communities.

 

Vision 2051 establishes a blueprint for the future of York Region and outlines the steps we can take collectively to achieve our vision.  Vision 2051 is a bold and innovative strategy to guide us in creating strong, caring and safe communities designed with sustainability in mind.

The 2011 to 2015 Strategic Plan has been created to emphasize the priorities of the 2011 to 2015 term of Council. 
The goals and action plans contained in this plan are specific, measurable, achievable and time-based. 
This focused plan is an important document to help ensure we are working towards the longer-range  strategy, Vision 2051.

Year 1 Progress Report 

The Year 1 Progress Report provides a snapshot of the seven interconnected, strategic priority areas that are critical to the well-being of the residents of York Region. This progress report is an important document to help ensure we are working towards our longer-range strategy, Vision 2051.

 

 

The 2011 to 2015 Strategic Plan is integrated with the Business Planning and Budgets process, along with the staff performance management system to support our priorities and ensure the commitments are met.
