 Approximately 600 staff provide services to promote the health, well-being, safety and independence of individuals who can no longer live independently. Special emphasis is placed on serving individuals with heavy, complex physical, cognitive and/or psychiatric care requirements. Short stay/convalescent care is also available. The following programs and services are provided by the Regional Municipality of York, Housing and Long Term Care Branch.
