Public Outreach

  • Eight schools from across the Region participated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each class had approximately 30 students; however, with the plows on school property for several weeks, often the whole school became involved in the public works discussion.
  • The plows were on display at our Family Fun Day/Open House and residents were encouraged to vote for their favorite plow.
  • The plows will be seen Region-wide as they will be proudly displayed on our plows this winter. All residents in the school’s neighborhood will have an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the designs as the plow goes by.
