Staff Appreciation Day

As part of our National Public Works Week celebration, we commemorate the valuable contributions of our staff. Our goal is to show staff just how much we appreciate all the work they do for York Region and our residents.

Staff appreciation luncheon

On the morning of Friday, May 22nd our commissioners, directors and senior managers visited 10 different site locations to welcome staff to work and provide coffee and donuts for all. They mingled with employees, who are always eager to share information on the services they provide.

In the afternoon all employees were invited to an appreciation lunch, complete with great food and prizes!
