Summary
- Overall, National Public Works Week was a huge success. There was great participation from both our Regional staff and residents.

- It was a great learning opportunity for our students, members of the public and staff alike. It was a privilege to be in a position to influence the employees of tomorrow and our residents by providing an enriching experience of the numerous ways that public works helps to build our community.
- The support from our politicians, through their ongoing funding commitment and enthusiastic participation in NPWW activities continues to be a driving force in the success of our annual celebrations.
- Our Family Fun Day/Open House attendance surpassed our anticipated projections. We reached out to the communities in York Region who were not hosting public works festivities. The total population of these other six municipalities is 257,357 residents.
- Throughout the week, we were able to reach more than 7,500 of our residents and students.
- Our Committee and volunteers were delighted to connect with such a large number of our citizens.
