Male Sexual Health

Look and feel healthy? Here’s the thing – if you are sexually active and haven’t been tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), you may not be and we really want you to be.

Get tested for STIs at least once a year and before introducing a new sexual partner by visiting one of York Region’s six sexual health clinics.

York Region Public Health’s sexual health clinics provide the following free and confidential services in a sex-positive, non-judgmental environment:

  • Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) testing, including anonymous and rapid testing
  • STI testing and treatment
  • Blood-borne infection (BBI) testing
  • Hepatitis A and B and human papillomavirus (HPV) immunization
  • Sexual health examinations
  • Gardasil 9 vaccination*
  • Condoms
  • Needle exchange

Your privacy is very important to us. A health card is not required and your personal information is strictly protected under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act. For more information about how York Region handles your personal health information, visit Personal Health Information Protection Act.

*There is a charge for the Gardasil 9 vaccine
