YRT/Viva service changes take effect March 4



Newmarket – YRT/Viva service changes will take effect on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Changes will result in service enhancements improving connections and operational performance.

Riders are encouraged to visit yrt.ca to review changes that may affect their travel plans, including various seasonal and frequency adjustments.

Route changes include:

  • Routes 20 – Jane and 165 – Weston: Southbound trips will not service inside Pioneer Village Terminal; travellers connecting at Pioneer Village Terminal can use stop 3692 at Steeles Avenue and Northwest Gate, located at the intersection of the terminal
  • Southbound Route 20 – Jane: Will service the intersection of Jane Street and Steeles Avenue
  • The last day of seasonal service to the Recreational Outdoor Campus (ROC) will be Sunday, March 18; weather conditions may affect the closing date for the ROC
