Important Notice to Ontario Works Clients

If you are an Ontario Works client expecting to receive a November cheque, please note the following due to the Canada Post service disruption:

  • If you receive your payment through direct bank deposit, your payment will be deposited as usual
  • The direct bank deposit statements with the drug and dental cards and will not be mailed at this time
  • If you receive your benefits by cheque, November cheques will not be mailed 
  • Cheques are available for pick up at your local Ontario Works office beginning on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Please contact your caseworker for more information
