15-16 Approval of Minutes of the March 12, 2015 Board Meeting
It was moved by Mayor Barrow and seconded by Regional Councillor Spatafora that the Board confirm the Minutes of the March 12, 2015 meeting of the Board of Directors of York Region Rapid Transit Corporation, which was Carried.

15-17 Communications Update and 2015 Campaigns
Mr. D. Albers, Chief Communications Officer provided an update on the 2015 Communication Campaign, including a new “Making Connections” theme and the launch of a new video using social media channels.
A report of the President, dated April 16, 2015, was presented recommending that:
1. The Board endorse the 2015 Communication Campaign.
It was moved by Mayor Barrow and seconded by Mayor Van Bynen that the foregoing presentation be received and the foregoing recommendation be adopted, which was Carried.
15-18 Authority to Execute the Amendment to Metrolinx Master Agreement for Infrastructure Ontario Highway 7 (H2) Rapid Transit Project
A report of the President, dated April 16, 2015, was presented recommending that:
1. The Board authorize an amendment to the Master Agreement with Metrolinx to include the vivaNext H2 bus rapid transit project along Highway 7 in the City of Vaughan and the Town of Richmond Hill, to be procured under the Infrastructure Ontario Alternative Financing and Procurement model.
It was moved by Mayor Barrow and seconded by Regional Councillor Jones that the foregoing recommendation be adopted, which was Carried.
15-19 Snow Removal on Highway 7
An update was provided regarding snow removal on Highway 7 rapidways. Snow was successfully removed four times last winter using the Richmond Green Snow Management Facility. A snow melter has been purchased and will be available for use next winter as part of the snow management strategy.
15-20 VivaNext Business Support Program
Board Members received a Briefing Note dated April 15, 2015 regarding the VivaNext Business Support Program for business owners within construction limits.
15-21 Private Session
The Board resolved in private session from 11:52 a.m. to 12:03 p.m.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned at 12:03 p.m.
