Do-it-Yourself Bulk Seedling Program
If you own two or more acres of land in York Region, you can order 100 or more seedlings to pick up and plant yourself. Seedling prices start at $0.57 each and are available from your local conservation authority at specific times of the year.

Forest Planting Program for Large 2 + Acre Properties
Landowners with two or more acres in York Region can participate in the Grow Your Legacy large-scale tree-planting program and continue growing forests for generations.
The Grow Your Legacy tree-planting program can help you:
- Establish a new forest on your land
- Connect or expand your existing forest
- Create a windbreak or hedgerow along the edge of your property
