Highway 7 from east of Bowes Road to Centre Street/North Rivermede Road
Transportation improvements prepare York Region to meet the needs of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future. York Region is making improvements to Highway 7 from east of Bowes Road to Centre Street/North Rivermede Road.
Duration: Late May 2024 to November 2024
Road improvements
- Removing and replacing asphalt road surface
Impacts to travellers
Lane closures are limited to:
- Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Weeknights from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. for major road works such as paving
- The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane closures are required
- Access to homes and businesses will be maintained
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
