The business community in York Region has been impacted by COVID-19. In response, various levels of government and industry organizations have announced support programs. York Region is committed to supporting businesses during this difficult time.
Business Advisory Services
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, York Region facilities are currently closed to the public. Business advisory services have been adjusted to support our business community virtually:
- One-on-one consultations through the York Small Business Enterprise Centre and other business advisory services are available through virtual consultations
- Seminars, group sessions and workshops are delivered through webinars

COVID-19 Economic Impact Recovery Measures
York Region is committed to working and collaborating with all levels of government to implement economic recovery measures. Both the Government of Canada and Ontario Government and the have dedicated resources to ensuring our economy remains as strong as possible.
York Regional Council approved the establishment of the Business Recovery Support Partnership to help businesses affected by COVID-19 restrictions. The task force addresses immediate and long-term economic recovery strategies and supports for the York Region business community.
