Groundwater Monitoring Well at Wilson Park in the Town of Aurora

The Regional Municipality of York will be working in your community, constructing a new groundwater monitoring well at Wilson Park, at the corner of Attridge Drive and Moorcrest Drive, in the Town of Aurora. The monitoring well will support York Region environmental programs and services to ensure groundwater resources are protected, healthy and sustainable.   

When: May to July 2022 

What can you expect?

• Access to Wilson Park and the playground will be maintained

• Access to all homes and buildings will be maintained

• There will be no impact to your water or wastewater services

• Due to the nature of the work, there will be some construction-related noise and dust from the equipment and trucks; every effort to minimize it will be made

• As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather or other conditions.
