St. John’s Sideroad closure and construction notice
Newmarket – The Regional Municipality of York is scheduling a road closure of St. John’s Sideroad, west of Yonge Street in the Town of Aurora from July 31, 2023 to August 18, 2023.
The road closure is required to replace a culvert and ensure the safety of both travellers and workers.
With a full closure, the work will be completed as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. Access to all properties will be maintained. Residents and businesses west of the culvert will only be able to access St. John’s Sideroad from Bathurst Street and those to the east, only from Yonge Street.
As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions. York Region will provide advance notice, when possible.
