Jane Dufferin Sewer Rehabilitation
The Regional Municipality of York is rehabilitating three kilometres of the Jane Dufferin Collector Sewer and maintenance holes along Keele Street and Steeles Avenue West in the City of Vaughan. The rehabilitation work is required to extend the life of the sewer.
When: May 2022 to May 2023

What Can You Expect?

A temporary sewage bypass will be installed along Keele Street and Steeles Avenue West to Dufferin Street
-
Keele Street and Steeles Avenue West will remain open to traffic; however, there will be periodic lane restrictions and delays. Traffic flag persons will be on-site, as needed, to help with the movement of traffic and reduce delays

Sidewalks will remain open and directional signage will be in place to help guide pedestrians, as needed

YRT transit service will continue; riders can call the YRT Contact Centre at 1-866-668-3978 or visit yrt.ca for more information
