Southeast Trunk Sewer and Odour Control Facility Rehabilitation - Notice of Construction

The Regional Municipality of York is rehabilitating the Southeast Collector Trunk Sewer shafts and the existing York Durham Sewage System odour control facility in the City of Pickering. The work will extend the life of the sewer and ensure critical wastewater services are provided to the community.

When:  November 2022 to fall 2024

What Can You Expect?

• Due to the nature of the work, there will be minimal construction-related noise and dust from the equipment and trucks; everyeffort to minimize this will be made

• Access to all homes and buildings will be maintained
• There is no impact to your water or wastewater services
