Temporary Traffic Signals Along Henderson Drive
Henderson Sewage Pumping Station - Construction Update
The Regional Municipality of York is constructing the new Henderson Sewage Pumping Station in the Town of Aurora. Temporary traffic signals have been installed near compound #1 on Henderson Drive near the McCellan Way intersection. The temporary traffic signals will direct the flow of traffic along Henderson Drive.
When: September to December 2022

What Can You Expect?
-
Henderson Drive remains open; however, lanes have been reduced to a single shared lane around compound #1
- There will be periodic delays due to the single shared lane of traffic and the temporary traffic signals
- Please slow down when travelling in the area and respect posted construction signage
Thank you for your patience while we complete this vital work. As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather or other conditions. Visit york.ca/waterconstruction for more information about water and wastewater construction projects.
Health and safety are a top priority for the Region. We understand temporary traffic signals and the single lane restriction can be disruptive; thank you for your patience while we complete the Henderson Sewage Pumping Station.
