Notice of Project Commencement - Tuclor Lane
The Regional Municipality of York will soon be working in your community conducting a pre-construction engineering study and site survey as part of the Tuclor Lane sanitary trunk sewer and maintenance holes upgrade work.
York Region’s gravity sewer and maintenance hole management program identified the Tuclor Lane sewer, which was built in 1956, needs to be upgraded. The upgrade work will extend the life of the sewer and maintenance holes.
Prior to the upgrade work beginning, York Region needs to conduct a topographic site survey to verify the existing alignment or path of the Tuclor Lane sewer and the location of the maintenance holes. York Region has retained the services of an engineering consultant, Jacobs, to complete this work. The pre-construction engineering study and site survey work has begun and is expected to be completed in the fall 2022.

Thank you for your patience while we complete this vital work. As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather or other conditions. Visit york.ca/waterconstruction for more information about water and wastewater construction projects.
