Culvert Replacement on Pine Valley Drive

York Region is replacing a culvert on Pine Valley Drive, south of Major Mackenzie Drive West, that allows water to pass freely under the road. A temporary road closure is required to complete this work.

Duration: July 3, 2026 to August 3, 2026

Impacts to Travellers 

• Work will occur Monday to Saturday and Sundays as required from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Pine Valley Drive from Rutherford Road to Major Mackenzie Drive West will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026 to 7 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026
  • Through traffic will not be permitted through the culvert site during the road closure
  • Local traffic is permitted on either side of the culvert site to access properties 

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
