Nashville Road from Coldspring Road to Stevenson Avenue
PROJECT UPDATE:
The road closure scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2024 to Sunday, September 8, 2024 to replace a culvert on Nashville Road between Coldspring Road and Stevenson Avenue is postponed due to anticipated weather.
York Region has rescheduled the road closure and Nashville Road will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
During the road closure, access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and for all driveways/entrances. All other traffic will not be permitted. Signs will be in place to guide travellers.
York Region is undertaking an urgent culvert replacement on Nashville Road between Coldspring Road and Stevenson Avenue. A temporary road closure is required to complete this work.
Duration: Friday, September 6, 2024 to Sunday, September 8, 2024
Impacts to travellers
- Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Nashville Road, from Coldspring Road to Stevenson Avenue, will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024
- No through traffic will be permitted through the work zone during the road closure
- Residents and businesses with properties to the west of the road will only have access to Nashville Road from Huntington Road or Coldspring Road and for those to the east of Klein’s Ridge, only from Highway 27
Access to properties along Nashville Road will be maintained.
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
