Road Repairs happening on Highway 7 and Warden Avenue
Highway 7, Allstate Parkway to Sciberras Road
Highway 7, at Bullock Drive
Warden Avenue, 14th Avenue to 16th Avenue
(excluding the bridge over Highway 407ETR)
York Region will be doing concrete repairs and adjustments to maintenance holes and catch basins. Once this initial work is complete, a road preservation treatment, called microsurfacing, will be applied to Highway 7 and Warden Avenue. It is a common and cost-effective way to maintain roads with minor defects and extend the life of the road. The road surface can feel rougher and sound noisier after the treatment, but over time, the stones will settle and the surface will become quieter. There may be a pause in construction between adjustment work and the application of the road preservation treatment.
