Transportation improvements prepare York Region to meet the needs of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future. York Region is making improvements guide rails on Woodbine Avenue south of Highway 7.
Description:
Guide rail improvements
- Remove, replace and repair guide rails that provide a barrier between the roadway and potentially hazardous situations
- This work will ensure guide rails meet current standards and increase safety for road user
Duration:
Early December 2022 to January 2023
Impacts to travellers:
Working hours
- Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Lane restrictions
The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions will be required to complete road improvements.
As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
