Construction of Nobleton Groundwater Production Well #6 - Notice of Construction

The Regional Municipality of York is constructing a new groundwater production well at 12860 Highway 27 in the community of Nobleton. The new groundwater production well is needed to add water system capacity and support the groundwater supply system for the community.

When: November 2022 to October 2023

What Can You Expect:

• There may be periodic water service interruptions; updates will be provided before any work happens

• As part of site preparations, some trees may be removed; York Region staff and forestry experts will be on-site monitoring the tree removal and when the work is completed, the area will be restored and native trees will be planted
• Due to the nature of the work, there will be increased construction-related traffic, noise, and dust from equipment; every effort to minimize this will be made
• Access to all homes will be maintained
