Waste Depot News

As service offerings are impacted in response to COVID-19, the details for our community donation centres and reuse drop off partners may not be up-to-date in Bindicator. Please contact these partners directly. York Region waste depots remain open, but please visit york.ca/closures for recent service changes.

Update: March 25, 2020 —  Effective Friday, March 27, York Region’s Public Waste Depots are only accepting garbage and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) at their respective sites, until further notice.

Please refer to hours and location information below. Read full details here.

Update: March 23, 2020
Textile collection has been suspended at participating waste depots until further notice. Diabetes Canada has made the difficult decision to stop all textile collection in an effort to protect the health and safety of donors, staff, partners and communities. Visit declutter.diabetes.ca for textile collection updates.
