York Children’s Water Festival

Thank you for your interest. Due to an overwhelming response registration for the 2020 York Children’s Water Festival is full.

The York Children's Water Festival is delivered through a partnership between York Region and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. It provides Grade 4 students from across York Region with the opportunity to learn about water conservation through a variety of interactive, curriculum-linked activities. The Festival helps students understand the importance of a clean and plentiful water supply, respect a healthy environment and take action to use natural resources wisely in their own school, home and community.

Student volunteers from York Region's high schools assist younger guests by:

  • Presenting topics
  • Guiding activities
  • Interacting with students
  • Helping to convey environmental messages

The 22nd annual York Children’s Water Festival will be held on May 12, 13 and 14, 2020 at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Park in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.

All bussing costs and arrangements will be the responsibility of each participating school. All details including the event arrival and departure times and the event address will be provided to you with your confirmation of registration.

Thank you for our continued participation and support. We look forward to seeing you in May 2020.

As the event date approaches, important information and news about the Festival will be provided. To ask questions or provide feedback, please email ycwf@york.ca or call 1-877-464-9675. ext. 75132
