Immunization Clinics

York Region facilities re-opening to the public

NOTICE: Immunization Clinics are re-opening on October 5th 2020 for those requiring grade 7 vaccines or grade 8 catch up.

Important Notice: We apologize if you are unable to book an appointment for your student today. York Region is currently working on securing additional sites and dates for immunization clinics. We are booking multiple venues in the Region and will be running clinics 4 days per week in the next couple of weeks, with the goal of eventually running multiple clinics per day to accommodate students that have missed their grade 7 vaccines. Once dates are confirmed at the venues, booking will be available online. We are hopeful that online appointment booking will be available in early October. We thank you for your patience as we navigate these unprecedented times..

York Region offers immunization clinics for school-aged children. These clinics offer convenient locations and times for immunizations missed at school clinics or family doctor appointments.

In order to ensure safety for everyone in our immunization clinics, please adhere to the following:

  • Please self-screen for COVID-19 prior to attending the appointment and do not come to the clinic if you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days or have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
  • Masks are required at all times for students 5 years of age and older and their support person. Some exceptions apply. Please visit www.york.ca/mandatorymasks for more information
  • Do not arrive early or late to your appointment. If you arrive early please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. If you arrive late you will be asked to re-schedule
  • Do not enter the clinic when you arrive. Follow instructions on the clinic signage
  • For elementary school aged students (grades JK-8) and students with special needs a maximum of ONE support person is allowed to enter the clinic space with the student. High school aged students (grades 9-12) will be required to enter the clinic space alone.

Notice: Due to high call volumes and associated wait times to book clinic appointments you are encouraged to book an appointment online. If you are unable to book an appointment online, please call 1-877-464-9675 ext.73456.
