Chat Live with a Public Health Nurse
Feeling overwhelmed with parenting? Having trouble feeding your baby? Is your baby not sleeping?
York Region Public Health now offers expectant and new parents the ability to ask a registered nurse health questions confidentially and anonymously through online chat.
eChat is a free service for York Region residents available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at york.ca/parenting

Expectant and new parents can use eChat to ask questions and receive health information about:
- Pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and post-partum health including your mental health and wellness
- Health and wellbeing of your baby or young child
- Parenting
- Breastfeeding
- Child growth and development
Health Information Line -Health Connection
