Ballantrae Long-term Water Supply EA Open House
York Region has initiated a Schedule ‘B’ Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) study under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to better understand if the existing water supply and storage capacity in the Ballantrae-Musselman Lake area will meet the long-term water needs of the community. As part of the Class EA process, York Region is hosting a Public Open House on the project to engage residents and stakeholders with respect to this study.
You’re invited to learn more about the study and the servicing needs to support future population growth in the Ballantrae-Musselman Lake area. The study area and municipal water service area for this project are shown below:
The Open House will provide current study information, the service alternatives being considered, potential impacts, a summary of the process York Region has followed and next steps. York Region staff will be on hand to answer questions and all those with an interest in the study are invited to attend.
