Nobleton Elevated Tank Repainting

Notice of Construction

As part of The Regional Municipality of York asset management program, the elevated water tank in your neighborhood has been selected to be repainted and upgraded. This work is being completed to ensure continued delivery of quality drinking water and to extend the useful lifespan of the tank.

The construction contract for the work has been awarded to Landmark Structures Co. and the contractor may begin moving equipment to the site during the week of May 26, 2014. Construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2014.

The work consists of painting the elevated water tank, both interior and exterior, antennae modifications and minor facility upgrades. The work is not expected to impact delivery of water to your residence or business, as water will be supplied from alternate facilities during the project. In addition, all work will be completed in accordance with the Township of King noise bylaw.

York Region’s consultant on this project, Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, will provide full-time site inspection services.

As with any construction project, there may be minor inconveniences which may affect you, however, every attempt will be made to keep these to a minimum. We respectfully request your patience in this regard.
