Stouffville Long-term Water Supply and Storage Notice of Online Open House

Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study

York Region is reviewing long-term water supply and storage needs for the community of Stouffville through a Schedule B, Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA).

The 2016 York Region Water and Wastewater Master Plan Update identified the need for additional water storage and water supply capacity related to the approved growth in the community of Stouffville.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

York Region is hosting an online open house for Stouffville residents and stakeholders to review the project information and provide feedback on the preferred solution. The online open house will provide an opportunity for you to learn about the project at your own pace. It will consist of information and a survey to review over a two week period. This open house is a follow-up to the open house held on November 23, 2017.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS STUDY

Please let us know if you require accommodations to participate. An accessible version of this notice is available upon request. York Region’s number one priority remains protecting the health and safety of staff and all our communities. As we monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation in York Region, we continue to be committed to effective engagement and consultation with the public and stakeholders in accordance with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.
