Notice of Road Construction
New Traffic Signal
In the City of Vaughan
The Regional Municipality of York works hard to maintain the condition of our Regional roads for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. We are making improvements to the intersection of Teston Road and Mosque Gate in the City of Vaughan.
A new traffic signal will be installed at this intersection. Construction is scheduled to begin mid-October and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. As with all road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather. We will provide advance notice whenever possible.
The intersection will remain open to traffic during construction and access will be maintained, however, temporary lane closures will be required between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for construction.
We recognize construction may be disruptive and the importance of minimizing the impact to those working, living and travelling in the area. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Safety is a priority on all Regional construction sites. For everyone’s safety, please reduce your speed through the construction area.
