Enjoy an unforgettable holiday experience in the beautiful York Regional Forest! There is something for everyone at this event. Bring the whole family and join the fun!

  • Your wagon awaits… Take in the sights of the forest while on a wagon ride (weather dependent)

  • Get cozy by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie (courtesy of Tim Hortons)

  • Have your face painted

  • Explore Canada’s first ‘Living Building’ - one of the most sustainable buildings in the world

  • Take a selfie with Santa in the forest

  • Visit our craft station with family and friends and make a special holiday decoration to take home 

  • The kids will love this holiday themed musical puppet show - “Santa and Eco Elves”! Shows start at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

  • Soak up the splendor of the forest through a leisurely stroll or a guided walk. Guided walks start at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., and are one hour in length. Listen to stories of the forest and learn about real Christmas trees and the tradition of the bells on your guided walk.

  • Experience history with The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum and Community Centre, and learn more about nature from the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust and the Oak Ridges Trail Association

  • Please bring a non-perishable food donation for a local food bank
