Celebrate the holidays with York Region Transit

Free transit on New Year’s Eve plus schedules to meet your shopping needs

Newmarket – This holiday season let York Region Transit (YRT) do the driving. With YRT there is no need to find parking when looking for last-minute holiday gifts or taking advantage of Boxing Day sales with weekday service to Vaughan Mills.

YRT will also provide residents with free and safe transit service to and from their New Year’s Eve festivities on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 after 7 p.m. Late-night service will be extended on select routes until approximately 5 a.m.

Our holiday schedule begins December 23, 2019 to January 1, 2020.

Transit New Service Schedule

New Service changes will begin Sunday, January 5, 2020.
