Delivery of York Region Matters signals start of summer season

Read what’s new in York Region and tell us what you’d like to see in future editions

Newmarket - York Region Matters will arrive in mailboxes across York Region beginning tomorrow. 

The newsletter highlights some of the many programs and services available to York Region residents, including information on transit, roads and the environment.

“York Region Matters provides residents and business owners with information about projects and initiatives approved by Regional Council,” said York Region Chairman and CEO Wayne Emmerson. “The newsletter makes it easier for people to access Regional information and services.”

Print and online readers of York Region Matters are encouraged to fill out a survey to provide their opinion on the edition as well as share ideas for upcoming newsletters. From all submissions, one will be drawn and the winner will receive a $50 gift card to a mall in York Region.
