Film fest: Housing York youth to take home top prizes



Newmarket – Step onto the red carpet and join Housing York, The Regional Municipality of York’s non-profit housing corporation, for the 2018 YOUTHink awards and movie night, a celebration of talented, creative youth who inspire positive change in their communities.

Last fall, youth residents were encouraged to submit short, personal videos for a chance to win prizes. After receiving more than 30 submissions, Housing York is pleased to award winning videos and recognize participants’ efforts by showing their videos on the big screen. A feature film will play afterward.

Participants will be available for interviews. Winning video submissions are available for media use.
