Newmarket – Enjoy an evening in the York Regional Forest learning about owls who call Ontario their home. Learn what owls eat, where they live, how they migrate and how they adapt to their environment. Discover what you can do to help protect local owls including proper viewing techniques.

When: Saturday, November 25, 2017, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: York Regional Forest, Holllidge Tract, 16389 Hwy. 48, Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville

This workshop is designed for adults, age 16 and up, who are passionate about owls, enjoy nature viewing, nature photography and want to take their owl knowledge to the next level. Information on how to take ethical pictures of owls will be included. Register online at york.ca/forestevents before Wednesday, November 22, 2017. A $20 registration fee applies.
