York Region Paramedic Services ceremony recognizes graduates and award winners

Twenty-nine graduates and 33 award winners to be recognized at annual ceremony on May 31

Newmarket – The Regional Municipality of York invites media to attend a graduation and awards ceremony recognizing 29 graduates and 33 award winners. Proceedings will recognize new recruits, paramedics graduating to higher levels of service, exemplary service award winners and long-service medal award recipients.

York Region Paramedic Services prides itself on a highly-trained and skilled team of paramedic professionals. Following weeks of rigorous training, written and practical exams, a driving test and in-person interviews, eight new paramedics were offered positions. They join 21 additional staff upgrading their training and 33 award winners to celebrate excellence in York Region Paramedic Services.
